The wait is finally over. After a long winter nap, Purple Pepper Plant Shop is officially re-opening for the season on March 20th at 10:00 AM! We’ve missed you, and we’ve been busy behind the scenes getting the greenhouse ready for a spectacular Spring. Here is everything you need to know as we kick off the season.

❄️ Keeping an Eye on the Skies
Nature is playing its usual bi-polar games with the temperature lately! Because the weather is still a bit unpredictable, we are being careful with our precious plant babies.
Perennials
These will be trickling in slowly as the weather stabilizes to ensure they stay happy, healthy and frost free.
The Sleepy Natives
You’ll notice many of our outdoor-wintered perennials and natives are still waking up. They might look a little quiet now, but their roots are ready to roar!
🌳 Now Budding & In Stock
The best time to plant a tree is 20 years ago, the second best time is now! A few of our in shop tree selection:
Flowering Beauties: Redbuds, Flowering Plums, Pink Magnolias, and Weeping Cherries.
Stately Classics: Native Tulip Trees, October Glory Maples, Red Sunset Maples, Ginkgos, and Crepe Myrtles.
🌸 Blooms, Vines & Shrubs
Shrubs: Drift Roses, Knockout Roses, and Camellias.
Climbers: Confederate Jasmine, Clematis, Native Passion Flower, and Wheeler’s Coral Honeysuckle.
Showstoppers: Geraniums, Fiesta Hibiscus (single stem and braided!), and Standard Gardenias—perfect for your entrance pots.
Coming Soon: Our Azaleas are budding up beautifully and will be ready for display within the next few weeks.

We just unloaded a massive shipment of Ferns, including Macho, Kimberly Queen, Boston, Kangaroo, Foxtail, and Asparagus varieties. Hanging Baskets available!
